The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s annual black-tie gala welcomed more than 600 community business, philanthropic and community leaders to celebrate the region’s growth and diversity and to raise critical funds to support its work in creating a more equitable, vibrant, and inclusive community.

The gala, planned and managed by Heritage, featured silent and live auctions, raffle drawing, a pledge campaign, cocktail reception, seated dinner and most notably the presentation of the Community Leadership Award for outstanding service and commitment to Northern Virginia, the longest standing award of its kind in the region.

The organization was able to raise more than $535,000 through sponsorships and ticket sales, donations and pledges, and live and silent auction bids at the gala.
